Most normal people in this world just get, you know, a normal job. But you’re not “normal people”: you’ve got the talent, charm, skills, equipment, or augmentations to make the kinds of jobs that get posted to illicit bulletin boards by anonymous clients posting payments via escrow online happen. Maybe one day you’ll take a job that puts a black eye on the people who are making your life miserable. One day.

For now though? Go make that bread.

A cyberpunkish heist/runner/gig economy simulator game based on Slayers

Properly laid out and more complete (but still minimal) version (i.e. not made by pandoc export) coming at some point after Minimalist TTRPG Jam 3.

I just ran a one shot of v1 for 5 players and we  had a lot of fun!

One thing that would help me as The Man would be a table of potential obstacles (mainly for The Operator to find and handle).

Overall, a really nice mod of Slayers. Great for cyberpunk heists. Thank you for creating it!

Glad you liked it! I do have some lists of such in The Man’s section.

Are Skill rolls always 1 die unless a class ability or helping ally adds another one?

Or can The Man decide how many dice the Runner should roll based on the difficulty of the check?

One die unless otherwise noted.

Calling the GM "The Man" is a stroke of genius. For being minimalist and completely text-based, this thing is dripping with theme. Well done!

Thank you so much!
